We’re delighted to welcome Sophia Goring, Ez Tabra, Linda King and Douglas Armstrong to the Charity Leadership Scotland Board.
Their appointments bring new perspectives, experience and connections to our Board, adding to the breadth of experience around the table.

Our Board plays an important role in shaping the direction of Charity Leadership Scotland and supporting us to deliver our work. Having people with different professional backgrounds, experiences and perspectives around the table adds to the depth of experience on our Board and gives us even more to draw on as we make decisions and shape the future of Charity Leadership Scotland.
Our four new trustees bring experience from a range of sectors and professional backgrounds, including communications, finance, governance, data, technology, and public-sector leadership.
About our new trustees:
Sophia Goring
Sophia brings more than 20 years’ experience in corporate communications, including public affairs, media relations, and stakeholder management. She is currently Head of Regulation and Sustainability at Business Stream.
Ez Tabra
Ez brings more than 30 years’ experience across finance, budgeting, reporting, accounting, governance, and project management, as well as expertise in strategic planning and financial management.
Linda King
Linda is Chief Strategy and Engagement Officer at Smart Data Foundry, a national data-for-good organisation working with government, academia, industry, and the third sector to address social and economic challenges through responsible use of financial data and emerging technologies.
Douglas Armstrong
Douglas brings more than 25 years’ public-sector experience across policy, strategy, and operations, including senior leadership roles in Health, Education, and Justice within the Scottish Government. Douglas has led through significant periods of change, including COVID-19, EU Exit, the Vaccination Programme, and the Energy and Cost Crisis.
