Isaac Orson Phillips
Communications & Events Officer
Isaac’s professional experience bridges the arts, music, and voluntary sector. Before joining Charity Leadership Scotland in October 2025, they led marketing and communications at CEMVO Scotland, managing the EqualJobs platform - a careers hub designed to support ethnic minority communities facing discrimination in employment. Further to their communications experience, Isaac is also an accomplished composer and theatre maker, having studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
As Communications & Events Officer, Isaac is instrumental in the planning and delivery of Charity Leadership Scotland’s year-round programme of events, both online and in-person. Central to their work is crafting high-quality communications across all channels, including social media, to ensure members and stakeholders are kept informed and engaged.
Originally from south London, Isaac has lived in Glasgow since 2017. Outside of their artistic pursuits, they are a proud two-time competitor in the Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making competition.
