Alison Hopper
Head of Operations
Alison’s professional experience spans 16 years across the arts, academic, and voluntary sectors in Scotland. Before joining Charity Leadership Scotland, she led the operations and projects management at the John Smith Centre at the University of Glasgow, working closely with the Board to deliver its strategic vision to empower more diverse voices to enter UK politics and public life. She has extensive experience in programmes development and delivery, stakeholder engagement and organisational governance. She previously worked in individual giving fundraising for a national performing arts company.
As Head of Operations at Charity Leadership Scotland, Alison is responsible for operationalising the organisation’s Strategic Plan 2024–2029 and for leading our Membership team to deliver exceptional service and value to our members. She also leads on operational planning and oversees our Finance, Data and Digital, HR and infrastructure functions.
